Daniel Newton.
Associate Attorney"Outstanding Advocate"
Originally from Marion, Virginia, Daniel Newton grew to adulthood in Indonesia, on the island of Java. Upon his return to the United States, Dan achieved a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Virginia Commonwealth University. Dan then achieved his J.D. from Seattle University School of Law in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. While attending law school, Dan participated in the Moderate Means Modicum, Housing Justice Program, Applied Family Law Practicum, and the Domestic Violence Practicum. Dan grew to appreciate and enjoy helping people navigate some of the most difficult and emotional situations in their lives. Dan is now a member of the Washington Bar and focuses his practice on Family Law.
Although Dan prefers to take a collaborative approach and focus upon the best interests of any children involved, he is well aware that collaboration with abusers can be far from anyone’s best interests. When faced with complex situations involving abuse and excessive animosity, Dan isn’t afraid to take off the gloves and make it clear that that nonsense won’t be tolerated.
When not working, Dan enjoys reading, video games, playing sports, and doting on his cat, Sasha.
